Presentation

I am an applied mathematician particularly interested in ecological applications. I am designing models and optimization methods that help taking better decisions in the domain of management of natural resources.

I had the chance to collaborate on various projects, such that informing the monitoring schedule of orange hawkweed in the Victorian Alp-Australia by combining simple probability theory to genetic algorithm or predicting the effect of different management scenarios on Burmese pythons and Argentine black and white tegus by combining reaction-diffusion model and simulation.

My unconfessed dream is to develop innovative modelling frameworks that have high impact both in terms of the method and the application.
